Tim Cannon is somewhat of a Legend in and around Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi, performing over 277 plus acoustic shows per year! His influences run the gambit from Soulful Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Wilson Pickett and Ray Charles to Rockers Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, and The Allman Brothers: along with Country Icons Vince Gill, Johnny Cash and Shenandoah.
He is honoring the tradition of hit music recorded in the Historic Southern town of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. “Everyone from the Rolling Stones, Bob Segar and Lynyrd Skynyrd have recorded here in our little town and I’m just proud to be a part of the legacy of Muscle Shoals” Tim says.
Recently he’s had the opportunity to write, play and record with members of Shenandoah, Heartland, Steppenwolf, The Swampers and The Steeldrivers. When he is not writing and recording, Tim can be seen performing his original songs, as well as covers at various venues throughout the South, thrilling audiences with his dynamic guitar playing and powerhouse vocals. “I’m truly blessed and absolutely love being able to make a living performing my music for more than a decade now. I love anything with soul and a good melody that makes you feel something” Tim says. Within the past few months, he has put together his own band Tim Cannon & The Dirty Power, in preparation to record his debut Blue’s album “Macon Blues.”

Drunk in Memphis is the brainchild of drummer Billy Steele and husband/wife duo Jacob and Holly Freed, bass player and lead vocalist for the band.
Friends for years, the threesome always wanted to put something together, but other projects kept the schedules too tight. Finally in the spring of 2022, the stars aligned, and it was time.
We knew we wanted to create something that blurred the lines between blues, rock, and country. Our first session together we were able to pull together some really cool riffs which ultimately turned into The Good Stuff. After listening to the jam session for probably hours, the lyrical inspiration came when Billy's wife, Paige, said we should call it "good stuff". From that point, the words just flowed almost faster than I could write them!
So, what do we call ourselves?? A few months before, we had taken a trip together to visit Elvis Presley's Graceland. The short story is that Jacob and Billy had a little too much fun and got lost on Beale Street. So, when we were trying to decide what to name our band, we knew we wanted something that had a story behind it but that also correlated to the music we were creating. Drunk in Memphis seemed to be the perfect way to describe a country/rock band with a blues twist, and the rest is history!
Once we had our sound established and had created more material to put an album together, we started thinking about the live show. We had several fantastic artists come into the studio and lay tracks down for the album, but dobro master Steven Smiley and guitarist Brent Terry were the two that fit the bill to complete the band. In April 2023, we played our first gig at For The Record in Florence, AL. A few months later, we took the stage at Summerfest in downtown Athens. We currently have an early November date at The Electric Bell in Huntsville, and during the winter months we'll be planning out our 2024 schedule.
3Below consists of three musicians, headed up by guitarist/vocalist Jimmy Rusidoff with Tim Humlicek on drums and Orami Rutledge on bass.
Jimmy hails from the Memphis area where he played in a local powerhouse rock band known variously as Creed and Southern Creed. (No, not THAT Creed...we were there first! - JR). After a move to Dallas in the mid-80’s along with two fellow Memphians, Lord Tracy was formed with original Pantera vocalist Terry Glaze which resulted in a record and a couple of MTV videos at the end of the 80’s and early 90’s, and endless road work.
After the demise of Lord Tracy, Jimmy headed up the blues based Jimmy R Band out of Dallas, then moving to Switzerland for a time before settling in Scottsboro, close to Huntsville, AL. While semi-active on the scene with projects like cover band Blood River, this is Jimmy’s first “all-in” original band.
Tim Humlicek is a Florida native who came up in the fertile music scene in the Tampa area before relocating to Huntsville. Tim has played drums for many different projects in the area, most notably Black Label, Rearview Ghost, and Blood River, along with Jimmy. Tim is also a gifted songwriter who plays guitar and fronts his own fully original band Spider House.
Orami Rutledge has been a fixture on the Huntsville scene both on stage with bands such as Hot Soup and as a long-time employee of the Fret Shop. A multi-instrumentalist whose dad played with many Alabama music legends, he comes by his passion for music honestly. He and Jimmy also share the same birthday, while it must be noted that Jimmy is “a few” years older!
3Below’s music is a blend of blues, hard rock, with some fusion overtones thrown in. Guitar-centric by default, the emphasis is on both instrumentals that can conjure up memories, paint mental pictures, and tunes with lyrics that actually “say something.” What you get is three men making as much joyful noise as possible, with the intention of coaxing audiences to forget the harsh world outside and live in the moment of sonic escape.
